Cape May Aviation Museum
The museum is an interesting side trip if you are in the area. It’s about 10 minutes north of Cape May. Make sure you have directions because the airport is slightly off of Route 9 and the Garden State Parkway. Admission was $5 for adults and $3 for kids. The museum is housed in an old aircraft hangar. Some of the planes on exhibit include a Grumman F-14, A MIG-15, a Cobra, an A4 Skyhawk, a large scale model of a V1 and a thermonuclear weapon (Inert... hopefully). There a number of hands on exhibits and photo opportunity places where you can photograph the kids in a cockpit Most of the exhibits are indoors and parking is available near the museum. This makes it one of the great 'things to do an a rainy day in Cape May'. For more information, please check out the NAS Wildwood museum website.
