Promenade
Near the Middle of the promenade, there are a number of shops and family oriented arcades. There are a number of rest stations along the length of the promenade. Toward the northern end, where there are fewer restaurants, you can usually find hot dog vendors.
Here is a something that you won't see in the summertime. It's a shot of the promenade between Morrow's Nut House and the Convention Center in the middle of March.
Check the rules out. Bike riding is allowed until 10 am. No skates or skateboards and no dogs.
Pictured above is the Pavilion at the southern end of the Promenade. They have a Flag lowering ceremony at sunset. If you have a fairly decent lens you can get some great pictures of the Cape May Lighthouse.
