Washington Street Mall

Washington Street Mall is a Victorian Shopping Mall located near the Congress Hotel. It spans several blocks and includes all types of stores and restauarants. The Mall was Washington Street between Ocean Street and Perry Street before it was converted. It crosses Decatur Street and Jackson Street. There are no motor vehicles allowed in the square itself. If you want to photograph it, try very early in the morning or off season. Any other time, it is full of people. 

The Washington Street Mall has shops and restaurants to suit a variety of tastes. You can find ice cream parlors, candy shops (The Jersey shore is know for it's salt water taffies, nuts and fudge), toy shops, Antiques, clothing, collectibles, cafes, pizza parlors, restaurants and more. There are art galleries, a general store and a bookstore. If you need a Mac machine, there is one at the northern end of the mall.
