| I had two appetizers. First one was Bayou
oyster stew which was fresh Louisiana pan-seared oysters n a rich dark spicy
broth. $10.95
My next appetizer was crab terrine which was three levels of avocados,
fresh tomatoes and jumbo lump crab meat served with toasted Italian bread.
It was delicious. $ 14.95
For dessert I had Key lime Pie. $7.95 Very good.

| This restaurant looks small from
the street. In fact, if you didn’t know it was there, you could miss it
entirely. You walk through a foliage arch from the street. If you are going
to drive there, call ahead for directions as to where to park. There is some
parking available nearby.
The menu is geared toward New Orleans, Cajun, Creole dishes. I ordered
one of the specials, salmon stuffed with a shrimp/scallop mousse ($32.95)
and a cabernet demi glace. It was served with rice and snap peas. It was
delicious. For desert I ordered the chocolate ganache served with a Gran
Marnier sauce. ($7.95)
The restaurant is kid friendly for well behaved children. The menu has a
number of Cajun seafood entrees. I tried some of my partner’s Gulf Stream
Crab Terrine ($12 Crabmeat, fresh tomatoes and avacado) served on toast.
The service was excellent.
Note: If you go, check out Fresco's which is
right next door. They are sister restaurants. We
reviewed Frescos in June 2005.
