Congress Hall

Congress Hall is just south of Carpenter's Square. Many of the rooms have a decent view of the ocean. If you want to go to the beach, you only have to cross one street.

Swimming pool at night

Congress Hall has added an "Adults Only" pool adjacent to the existing outdoor pool. This is a great addition if you want some quiet time in the water or just lounging alongside the pool. The kids can have a great time in the open pool and the adults can mellow out. The adults pool is a bit smaller and seems to be a little warmed than the open pool. I noticed on our last visit that the open pool is actually chilled when it gets too warm (Nothing like swimming by a jet of refrigerated water to wake you up a bit)

The hotel has several prints hanging in the arcade depicting the early days of the hotel and the extent of the fire that leveled a good part of Cape May.
